The complexes consist of semiconductor quantum dots CdSe/ZnS with tetrapyrrole molecules (chlorin e6) have been created. It has been confirmed by optical spectroscopy that effective energy transfer from quantum dots to chlorin e6 is observed in the resulting complexes.
