In this research the nonlinear optical properties (NOP) of nanocomposite material based on chalcogenides and gold nanoparticles in a polymer medium was studied using the Z-scan method. Since in Z-scan method the material should be exposed to a strong laser radiation, it was necessary at first to study the effect of irradiation on the material, to evaluate its Laser Durability and photostability.
