The paper deals with the concepts of project and project management. The purpose of the research is to compare traditional and agile project management methodologies. The comparison is made based on Waterfall and Scrum, current methods for these methodological groups. As a result, it was concluded that the choice of methodology is very important and depends on many factors (industry, product, and so on). This paper is of interest to people who work in project activities.
