IR–VIS registration is unreliable when cross-spectral features are weak. We present a structural-parametrization method for rapid generation of manufacturable, high-contrast IR–VIS calibration boards. A 3D-printed PETG checkerboard uses two thickness levels to create thermal contrast while preserving visible edges; with a 60 W incandescent lamp and reflective enclosure it enables robust corner detection in both modalities. From a single parameter file, the pipeline auto-builds the geometry and exports CAD/STL/STEP with a parameter report, allowing fast adaptation to different cameras, FOVs, and working distances. Deterministic grid correspondences are used to estimate the geometric mapping for repeatable registration.
