Study on polymer membranes modified with bimetallic MOFs for lithium extraction. MOF growth cycles (3–10) were evaluated; membranes were characterized via SEM, XRD, and FTIR, confirming homogeneous MOF formation with Zn and Co. Lithium selectivity and permeability depend on precursor solution, Zn:Co ratio, and cycle number. Results show neither property can be maximized independently; intermediate modification yields the best trade-off. Optimizing precursor type, metal ratio, and growth cycles is essential to enhance membrane performance for efficient lithium extraction.
