The work addresses the problem of ensuring trust in biometric data processed within cloud environments. Although biometric authentication is widely adopted, cloud-based processing introduces additional risks related to data spoofing, manipulation, and unauthorized access. The work represents a research review and preparatory study focused on the analysis of existing machine learning–based anti-spoofing methods, cloud security mechanisms, and trust models for biometric data processing. The study also involves comparing evaluation metrics, datasets, and threat models, forming the methodological basis for subsequent experimental research.
