Breast cancer is a common heterogeneous malignant neoplasm and the second leading cause of mortality in women, which is mainly associated with metastasis to distant organs. In this study, the growth characteristics of tumor cells administered subcutaneously in different numbers to laboratory animals were studied, and the processes of metastasis during intravenous inoculation of tumor cells in mice were studied. To create an experimental model, a 4T1 cell line expressing luciferase and not expressing luciferase as a control was used. The data obtained showed significant differences in the dynamics of tumor growth and in the degree of metastasis between models, which is confirmed by bioluminescent signals.
