The efficiency of gene inhibition using RNA interference mechanisms is determined, among other things, by the design of short interfering RNAs. In this paper, shRNA variants inhibiting the expression of fluorescent proteins GFP, BFP and RFP were selected, genetic constructs with shRNA in the plasmid DNA format were obtained and the efficiency of the obtained constructs was confirmed in mammalian cells by flow cytometry with the selection of the most effective shRNA variants.
