Bone tissue engineering is a rapidly developing field aimed at creating biomaterials that promote bone regeneration. Amelogenin, a key enamel matrix protein, is considered as a potential osteo-inducing factor. At the same time, spider silk-based scaffolds have remarkable mechanical properties and biocompatibility. This study examines the integration of amelogenin into a spider silk scaffold to further evaluate its osteogenic effect.
