This study aims to address multidrug resistance by developing antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) as alternatives to traditional antibiotics. AMPs offer broad-spectrum activity and are less likely to cause resistance, but issues like instability, toxicity, and high costs limit their use. To tackle this issue we design novel peptides with predicted properties and validate them in silico before proceeding to empirical trials. The peptides are produced though bacterial vectors, purified, and tested for effectiveness and safety. This approach aims to create stable, safe and cost-effective AMPs.
