Natural bioactive compounds have significant therapeutic potential, but efficient and sustainable extraction remains a challenge. This study analyzes the phytochemical composition and GC-MS profile of Cucumeropsis mannii seed oil (CMSO). Phytochemical screening confirmed flavonoids, alkaloids, phenols, tannins, glycosides, terpenoids, saponins, and steroids. GC-MS identified key constituents, including oleic acid, octadec-9-enoic acid, cyclopentadecanone, 2-hydroxy and various alkanes, and fatty acid esters. These findings highlight CMSO’s potential as a nutraceutical source. Future research will optimize liquid-liquid interface extraction (LLIE) using green solvents and AI-driven techniques to enhance efficiency and sustainability in bioactive compound extraction.
