Aptamers are promising tools for in vivo monitoring and targeted drug delivery due to their unique properties and advantages over traditional antibodies. However, current aptamers have a high dissociation rate, limiting their effectiveness. In this study, we aim to select DNA aptamers with a strong affinity for bovine serum albumin and improve their dissociation rate by incorporating hydrophobic modifications and protective scaffolds. By enhancing stability and reducing dissociation in aqueous environments, these modified aptamers have the potential to revolutionize gene therapy with enhanced binding capabilities to target proteins. This research paves the way for the development of more efficient and precise therapeutic approaches using aptamers as a replacement for antibodies in future
