This work explores the innovative use of DNA origami in creating marker-activated nanomachines for targeted cancer therapy. By folding DNA into precise structures, the research introduces a novel approach to cancer treatment that leverages the versatility and specificity of DNA origami and nucleic acid-based therapeutic agents. The development of a DNA nanomachine, designed as a nano-barrel, showcases the potential for selective and effective tumor therapy through controlled release of therapeutic nucleic acid agents in response to cancer markers. This work offers a promising leap forward in the realm of targeted oncological therapies and the synergy of nanotechnology with molecular biology.
