This study investigates the characterization and potential applications of silver nanoparticles synthesized via a "green" approach utilizing spruce needle extract. The synthesis method involved the reduction of silver ions by bioactive compounds present in the extract, resulting in nanoparticles with distinct physicochemical properties. Characterization techniques including scanning electron microscopy and UV-Visible spectroscopy confirmed the formation of well-defined nanoparticles. Evaluation of antibacterial efficacy demonstrated significant inhibitory activity against bacterial strains. This research highlights the feasibility and promise of plant-based extracts for eco-friendly synthesis of antibacterial nanoparticles with potential applications in healthcare and the food industry.
