Enzymatic optical biosensors based on nanosized titanium (IV) oxide are proposed to be used as potential point-of-care test-systems of α-amylase and β-galactosidase. This method does not require expensive laboratory instrumentation, operator expertise and can be easily incorporated into routine point-of-care analysis.
