To diagnose and treat a number of diseases, such as cancer, genetic disorders or viral infections, it is necessary to know the quantitative concentrations of characteristic markers. The existing method, digital PCR, copes well with its tasks, but has a significant drawback – the high cost of analysis. We propose a new technique for the quantitative determination of oligonucleotide concentrations based on binary DNAzymes which, depending on the concentration of the input signal, will switch the signal intensity.
